Il 2 gennaio 2015, Desco Industries, Inc. di Chino, California, ha acquistato le attività della divisione 3M Static Control, creando in tal modo il più grande produttore di prodotti di controllo statico in Nord America. Questo acquisto ha portato alla creazione del nuovo marchio Desco Industries, SCS.
SCS è un produttore integrato verticalmente che spazia dalle materie prime ai prodotti finiti, fornendo un controllo unico sulla catena di fornitura, sullo sviluppo del prodotto, sulla produzione e sulla gestione della qualità. Ora abbiamo la più vasta gamma di schermature di controllo statico e sacchi barriera prodotti nella nostra struttura di Sanford, NC. E con le nostre capacità di produzione possiamo e fare film speciali sul posto.
I prodotti SCS aiutano i produttori elettronici a gestire il loro programma ESD. Alcune delle apparecchiature possono essere utilizzate per creare un programma di gestione statica completo di SCS utilizzando un sistema di apparecchiature di prova e software per monitorare la conformità del controllo ESD in tempo reale. Lo Static Management Program (SMP) è progettato per migliorare la qualità del prodotto, i rendimenti di produzione e l'affidabilità del cliente.
